I love shooting conferences and get booked on a fairly regular basis by all sorts of different organisations. There are always things happening, from networking sessions, to people simply talking over coffee, right through to exhibition stands and VIP keynote speakers. The Foundation Trust Network's event was no different - dynamic, busy and really interesting.
My brief was to capture some of the important speakers and a feeling and mood of the event. Fortunately both the marketing manager and the press manager were at the event and led me to specific people and set-ups that they needed. Obviously, each had a slightly different audience, so we looked at their website for their in-house style for longer term usage, while VIPs and guests were pointed out for more immediate press requirements. Images were supplied during the day and hit the social pages of the Guardian and other papers in time for the second day of the conference. Finally I took some quick portraits of the new Chief Executive and covered the evening drinks reception.
Vivien at FTN gave the following feedback;
"A big thank you. Photos look good & you did a great job on the day"

"Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank-you so much for the brilliant job you did for us in Bootle barracks the other week – we hit the Echo and also the Plymouth Daily (where we have an interest in veterans services) so we were dead chuffed."
